We make our classic Strawberry Preserves with ripe local Washington strawberries grown in the Skagit Valley. They are Hood and Rainier varieties, red all the way through and so tender they must be used within a day after picking. We use less sugar than supermarket jam, so the berry flavor is bright and fresh.
Ingredients: Strawberries, sugar, lemon juice and pectin.
You can taste the freshness of the strawberries.
This is the most wonderful preserves. We discovered the jam on a visit to Pikes Market and I continue to place orders. My son will eat no other jam.
These are the only strawberry preserves as good as those made by my own mother!
This is the most amazing preserve I've ever had.
