We make our loganberry fruit spread with ripe local loganberries. We use less sugar than traditional jam, so the berry flavor shines through.
In 1881, James Harvey Logan discovered that a Blackberry and a Red Raspberry plant growing next to each other had cross-pollinated. The result was a delicious hybrid berry dubbed the loganberry.
Ingredients: Loganberry, sugar, lemon juice, and apple pectin.

Loganberry Preserves
This is the Woodring preserve that sticks in my mind. This loganberry preserve has a rich, concentrated essence, and it has a distinctive raspberry element combined with its blackberry roots. I think it's a gem among Pacific NW preserves *and* it goes well with /stands up to peanut butter!

Loganberry jam
We ordered Loganberry & Tayberry jam as a Christmas gift for our 13 year old foodie daughter. This gift was a big favorite! We discovered these jams on a summer trip to pikes place. You can definately taste the freshness. The raspberry shines through the Blackberry. It's great way to brighten your morning toast or biscuits.
