About Us

The Woodring Story

We got our name from Woodring Canyon in the small town of Cashmere, Washington where we started out, pressing fresh cider from apples grown in our orchards. In 1985 we started selling our products in Seattle's famous Pike Place Market, where we still run our stand daily. We're now based in Monroe, another small town about an hour outside Seattle.

We're proud to be a family owned and operated company. We're a husband-and-wife team develop and make everything we sell and our college-age children help out with production, deliveries, and working at the local farmers markets.

Our Products

Since our simple beginnings making cider, we've created a wide range of fine specialty foods, from our signature preserves to delicious pickles, honeys, and chocolate sauces.

What makes our products special? It starts with the ingredients: we work directly with small Pacific Northwest farmers to get all of our fruit. This allows us to get the freshest produce and get varieties not sold commercially like Tayberry, a blackberry-raspberry hybrid so delicate each berry must be carefully picked by hand.

We bring the same level of care to every step of the process. We do everything by hand in small batches, from peeling apricots to stirring jam, sealing jars and even putting on labels. All of this care ensures that you get the finest possible products. Once you've tried them, you'll understand why we have loyal customers from all over the world.
